Tuttosport: Milan eye opening as Man Utd could sign Atletico defender – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Milan are still looking to reinforce the right-hand side of their four-man backline, having brought in Fode Ballo-Toure for the opposite side. Diogo Dalot is the first choice and there could be an opening, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews, the Rossoneri insist on bringing in the Portuguese international before the end of the transfer window. In fact, they are even preparing a new offer for Man Utd to consider.

The first one was a loan with an option to buy and it was immediately rejected. This time out, Milan will make it a paid loan with an option to buy, hoping to convince the English side. There is reason to believe that the latter could open up to this.

Per the newspaper, Man Utd are interested in Kieran Trippier of Atletico Madrid and should they manage to sign him, then Dalot would be redundant. In that sense, therefore, a return to the Rossoneri is still possible.

  1. Having had Dalot on loan last year, AC Milan would know if he is the player they want so United should refuse a loan.

United should tell AC Milan that they can buy Dalot for say £18, million and pay £4.5, million for four years.
