Tuttosport: Milan eyeing Forest, Hearts duo as Wigan demand big fee for full-back

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have identified two alternatives to Wigan Athletic defender Antonee Robinson due to the Championship side’s asking price, a report claims.

MilanNews.it reported on Saturday that the Turkish Federation have given the go-ahead to Fenerbahce to complete their move for Rodriguez. Financial Fair Play is no longer a problem and the Istanbul side can present Milan with an official offer for the Swiss full-back.

They added that should Rodriguez’s sale go through, USA international Antonee Robinson is the priority to replace him and talks have intensified. For the 22-year-old full-back, the request from the Championship side is currently around €10-12million.

According to Tuttosport on Sunday – as cited by MilanNews.it – Robinson is indeed Milan’s main target to become the new back up to Theo Hernandez. However, the Rossoneri want to lower the economic demands of the Lancashire club.

The alternatives, however, are not lacking. As the paper reports, in the notebook of Maldini and Boban there is also Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest and Aaron Hickey from Hearts.
