AC Milan are looking to sign a new right winger and a centre-forward this summer but the fact they have one non-EU slot left complicated their plans.
As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes this morning, the Milan management must soon resolve the knot related to the final non-EU slot and must make a decision on who they want to fill it.
The Rossoneri’s priority is still Samuel Chukwueze, but the €35m that Villarreal keeps asking for is deemed excessive by Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada given he has less than a year left on his deal.
That is why other options are being kept open. If Chukwueze is a dead end then Milan could turn to Iran international Mehdi Taremi of Porto, who is a non-EU player.
If Milan decide to sign him, then at that point they could no longer buy Chukwueze, so they would likely switch to FC Midtjylland’s Gustav Isaksen.
no mention of balogun?
I like Taremi but why don’t they offer a bit more and get Balogun or a different younger attacker? Taremi is a good striker that will guarantee goals, whatever some half-racist comment say, he is literally better than Giroud. But why spend that money when you can go for a younger striker that scores goals for 35-45M.
Sell CDK get Balogun?
25 mil for a 30 year old striker if even more excessive than 35 mil for Chuk on a year contract. I don’t like the idea of having 2 old center forwards in the squad.
If we can get verbal agreement fot get chucks for free next season, it would be wonderful. Taremi can fill the floppy origi slot bc we wanna achieve better result in serie a and UCL.
Think I’d rather have Isaksen than spend €35m on a 24yo RW to be honest. If we can’t find a decent left footed winger for €30m then our scouting team really isn’t doing its job. If Chukwueze is willing to wait 6-12 months in exchange for a chunky signing bonus then even better.
What about kamada?
Kamada will join Roma or Inter and become our nightmare next season.
