Tuttosport: Milan flop Laxalt could return to Genoa but there is one obstacle

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of the season, Milan will be looking to part ways with two left-backs, namely Ricardo Rodriguez and Diego Laxalt. The former is just one step away from Torino, while the latter is still far from being sold.

According to Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews.it, Genoa are interested in the Uruguayan and could decide to make a move for their former player. The interest of Lokomotiv Moscow is also well-known at this point.

The Rossoneri would like a figure close to €10m, and while this remains the main issue for the Russian side, the Rossoblu are more concerned about the salary. Laxalt currently earns €1.5m, which is considered excessive.

At Milan, Laxalt has failed to show his qualities and it’s about time he leaves, frankly speaking. The loan to Torino, albeit interrupted, was another failure and a return to Genoa now seems like the right solution to salvage his career.
