AC Milan have gone cold on the idea of signing James Rodriguez from Everton despite the efforts of his agent, according to a report.
As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports this morning, James Rodriguez’s name has often been linked to Milan during the summer transfer window as they look for a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu who would guarantee quality and could arrive on favourable terms.
However, as the days go by the track leading to the Colombia international is getting colder, despite the fact that his agent Jorge Mendes is trying in every way to create the conditions that would see Rodriguez try a new experience in Italy.
We can infer from this update therefore that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have chosen to focus on other profiles, perhaps ones that offer more guarantees from a physical point of view and also do not have a salary deemed too high for the accounts.
