Tuttosport: Milan have approval of Fiorentina star but Commisso asks for €40m

AC Milan are still pushing hard to try and secure the signing of Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina but the demands are high, a report claims.

According to Thursday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are interested in the young defender but have no intention of overpaying.

At the moment, Fiorentina’s owner and president Rocco Commisso wants €40million for Milenkovic without any counterparts, which rules out the chance of Lucas Paqueta being involved in the deal.

One thing works in Milan’s favour though: the Rossoneri have the approval of Milenkovic and boast excellent relations with his agent Fali Ramadani, who also represents Ante Rebic with whom a salary was recently agreed for if he remains beyond his loan.

Milan will continue to monitor the situation, in the hope that Fiorentina will open up to new solutions. Milenkovic is a very popular player with the management as he is flexible (he can also play as a right-back) and Pioli knows him well.
