Tuttosport: Milan have €10-12m Spurs man on list of five defensive targets

AC Milan are still on the hunt for a new centre-back after missing out on Sven Botman and Japhet Tanganga’s name is back in fashion, a report claims.

Tanganga was linked back in January and is clearly profile that the Rossoneri management like. According to Tuttosport (via MilanLive), the 23-year-old is valued by Tottenham at €10-12m after a difficult season.

It is certainly an affordable figure for the Rossoneri but Tanganga – who is under contract until 2025 – was forced to miss the entire second part of the season due to a knee problem so his condition must therefore be carefully checked.

In the background there remain profiles such as Abdou Diallo of PSG or Francesco Acerbi of Lazio. The Ligue 1 side may soften their asking price as the days and weeks tick by while the Biancocelesti may open to letting Acerbi go for free. Malick Thiaw of Schalke and Maxime Esteve of Montpellier are also liked.
