Tuttosport: Milan hoping to have Rebic back for derby – the latest on his condition

By Isak Möller -

Ante Rebic didn’t take part in last night’s clash between Spezia and Milan, having scored a brace against Crotone in the previous game. An injury stopped the Croatian, who hopefully will be back for the derby.

As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Rebic suffered a blow to his left patellar tendon in the last training session on Friday. He was called up for the game but in the end, he wasn’t even on the bench for the Rossoneri.

The blow initially didn’t seem serious but it was enough to keep him out last night, and now Milan are hoping to have him back for the derby. The winger will be evaluated in the coming days and it remains to be seen what the results will show.

Rafael Leao played on the left-wing last night and, much like many of his teammates, he didn’t do well. Having said that, he was fantastic in the first leg against Inter and that’s why he has a good chance of starting that game.
