AC Milan have two names on their shortlist as they look for a reliable deputy to Theo Hernandez this summer, according to a report.
After links with Wigan’s Antonee Robinson throughout January and Aaron Hickey of Hearts in recent weeks, a couple more names have emerged as a possible replacement for Diego Laxalt and Ricardo Rodriguez as back-up left-back.
According to Sunday’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), the Rossoneri have set their sights on Evan N’Dicka of Eintracht Frankfurt and Philipp Max of Augsburg to be the potential new deputy to Theo.
The duo are known for their flexibility – something which appeals to prospective new manager Ralf Rangnick.
N’Dicka has top flight experience playing as a left-sided centre-back meaning he could also cover if captain Alessio Romagnoli were absent, while Max has been known to play as a wide midfielder due to his tendency to get into the final third of the pitch.
