AC Milan are preparing for their first away match of the season in Parma where they hope to pick up their first win, and there should be a younger contingent on the bench as per a report.
As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports this morning, Paulo Fonseca will have to do without Alvaro Morata for the game at the Tardini, who will return after the break due to a muscular problem and who should be replaced by one of either Noah Okafor or Luka Jovic.
The paper adds that Fonseca could call up Kevin Zeroli and Francesco Camarda for the game, the former to add an extra midfield option and the latter because of the chain effect after Morata’s muscle issue.
This is despite that fact that the two continue to train with Milan Futuro under Daniele Bonera’s eyes in view of their Serie C debut on Sunday evening against Virtus Entella, which comes after back-to-back wins in the Coppa Italia Lega Pro.
That is not the only thing that shown Milan’s ‘green line’ though, because two signings are close: 19-year-old midfielder Silvano Vos from Ajax and another 19-year-old midfielder in Demirel Hodzic from Bologona. It further proves the commitment to investing in talent for today and tomorrow.
It extends beyond the Futuro side, too. Federico Guidi’s Primavera have an average starting XI age of 17 years and 3 months, led by Max Ibrahimovic who scored a brace in his debut against Udinese. The Rossoneri have fielded the team with the lowest average age in the entire league so far.
