Tuttosport: Milan forward emerges as an option for Juventus after Milik injury blow

Juventus have been hit by a couple of damaging injuries including one to Arkadiusz Milik, and that could see them target Luka Jovic according to a report.

As Tuttosport (via Radio Rossonera) report, Milik has undergone surgery again and the recovery time is not the usual amount that is needed for a meniscus removal. The hypothesis is that Milik could be available again in a couple of months.

That means Thiago Motta has no real replacement for Dusan Vlahovic. Occasionally both Yildiz and Nico Gonzalez have acted as centre-forwards but ‘it is inevitable that Juventus will look around to not be caught unprepared in the January market, if the Pole is not yet recovered’.

Tuttosport formulates the hypothesis that Juve will focus on the so-called ‘market of the dissatisfied’, essentially meaning strikers that are not getting much playing time at their current clubs at the moment and may look for a way out.

The ideal would be a player who plays in Serie A for an easier integration but it is not easy. A possible name could be Jovic, who has fallen by the wayside a bit after the summer signings of Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham, and whose contract expires in June.

Milan and Juventus completed a deal this summer for Pierre Kalulu so the phone lines are already open, but the Rossoneri have come under fire from some for fixing the problem of a rival by letting the defender go on loan there.

    1. We had the chance to play two against Leverkusen, but guess what your coach did, he choose to loose and guess what again, Jovic only succeedes in a two striker system. I see us selling him or as this management like to say clear his wage bill 😂…

      1. Bs, Morata was in doubt if he would even play that match so that is why he started on the bench. Rest assure had he been fully fit to play the entire match he would have done that and Jovic isn’t part of the cl squad.
Had he started Morata anyways and then gotten injured for weeks to come people would have complained as well.
        I’d keep Jovic though.

  1. I honestly am absolutely fine with selling Jovic. I don’t think he has contributed significantly to any of the teams he has been with. In my opinion, he can’t grow, adapt or be cold blooded when a difficult situation arises. I was hoping we would be getting rid of both Jovic and Krunic, when we were unloading bad contracts, but it seems we are stuck with one of them for another year
