One of AC Milan’s biggest struggles this season has been the right-hand side, with Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria failing to perform on a high level. Therefore, the Rossoneri will be looking to sign a right-back in September.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it), Milan have added Emerson to their wish list. Barcelona are asking for €30m to part ways with him, a price tag motived by the fact that it will cost them €9m to bring him back early from Real Betis.
However, there seems to be room for negotiation. The parties will soon meet to take stock of the situation, with Milan hoping that the Catalan side will agree to a price cut. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri also have to sell Conti or Calabria.
The alternative to the Brazilian is Denzel Dumfries, the PSV Eindhoven captain who is valued at around €18m. It remains to be seen who Milan will sign come September, if any of them.
