Tuttosport: Milan keen on swap deal involving Lokomotiv star – two counterparts in mind

By Isak Möller -

With just one game left of the season, AC Milan are already making plans for the next as they don’t want to be caught unprepared. The Rossoneri will finish in 6th place and intend to do much better next season.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), among other midfielders, Milan have resumed contacts with Lokomotiv Moscow over Aleksey Miranchuk. The 24-year-old will turn 25 in October and has been linked with the club for a while.

Due to his high valuation, though, the Rossoneri would like to include a technical counterpart in the operation. Diego Laxalt has been mentioned as the perfect player, but Milan are also willing to offer Ricardo Rodriguez to the Russian side.

It remains to be seen if the parties will reach an agreement, though it seems the negotiations are just at the starting point. Signing Miranchuk would certainly add some healthy competition in the attacking department.
