According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the management know it is necessary to try and raise money from those players who do not fit into Stefano Pioli’s plans. Jens Petter Hauge is one of those who is not deemed unsellable, and both Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg have come forward.
It will take around €12-14m for Milan to sell as they want to earn as much as possible from the sale of the young winger. The watchword is capital gain, like the one that could be obtained from the sale of Tommaso Pobega, a product of the Milan youth sector.
Samu Castillejo is being followed by Real Betis meanwhile but it will be hard to make a capital gain from his exit, especially because the Andalusian club have not gone beyond mere appreciation. Milan are waiting for concrete and satisfactory offers and have no intention of selling off their players or even granting discounts.
If sales do occur, it will be to flesh out the budget and make room in the team to accommodate players that are more functional to the coach’s ideas.
