Tuttosport: Milan make decision to sell centre-back with €10m asking price set

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made the decision to sell defender Mateo Musacchio at the end of the season, according to a report.

Musacchio’s game time at Milan has decreased over the last few months as he has fallen down the pecking order, and the player’s agent recently gave a lengthy interview during which he expressed frustration at the Rossoneri’s treatment of his client.

Our mercato expert Vito Angele told us that Sevilla and Valencia are keen on Musacchio, with Milan valuing the 29-year-old at around €6million.

Monday’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanLive) confirms that Musacchio will leave Milan in the summer. With his contract expiring in June 2021, the Argentine is looking for a new club.

A return to Spain with Valencia appears the most likely option at present, but also watch out for Italian and English teams who make a move. The Rossoneri have set an asking price of €10m due to his contract situation.
