AC Milan might not decide to sign a new striker this summer depending on how internal solutions get on, according to a report.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that there are many names emerging – with six in particular named by the paper – but it is not excluded that in the end the Rossoneri club will opt for an internal solution.
If between now and the end of the season Rafael Leao provides good performances and gives guarantees as a striker, then the management could also decide not to buy a new centre-forward and instead focus on the Portuguese.
It comes after Sky Italia (via MilanNews) also reported that if Leao shows that he can be a valid alternative to Ibrahimovic as a first striker, Milan might not even look for a new reinforcement in attack during the summer transfer window. However, if the Portuguese does not convince the Milan management, then they will return to the market and among the names being considered is Gianluca Scamacca.
