AC Milan are on the hunt for a new striker ahead of the upcoming season and many names have been linked with the Rossoneri. The latest is Hugo Ekitike, the youngster who is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
Ekitike made 32 appearances for PSG this past season (all comps) but he registered just 1395 minutes on the pitch. In other words, he most came off the bench and he thus only scored four goals for the French side.
The 21-year-old needs consistent playing time and is now expected to leave PSG for a fee of around €20m, as reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (see photo below). Milan are monitoring the situation and could perhaps make a move for the striker.
However, it’s believed that Milan want a more experienced and proven goalscorer this summer. Therefore, as was reported earlier, they have made Mehdi Taremi their primary target and are working on lowering his price tag.
