Despite rumours that there are some disagreements happening at AC Milan, the management and squad are all reportedly united in their pursuit of a top four spot.
As Tuttosport writes (via MilanNews), the defeat against Sassuolo complicates things a bit, but despite everything Milan are in full swing to reach qualification for the 2021-22 edition of the Champions League as they have an advantage over the other teams at present.
The Super League debacle risks having left some aftermath especially after the words of Paolo Maldini who said that he did not know anything about this project. The Rossoneri are now in the decisive moment of the season and therefore a new phase of internal tension would really be a problem at this point of the season.
Maldini’s words did not go unnoticed and cast doubt on his relationship with CEO Ivan Gazidis, just as it had happened a year ago when there was talk of Ralf Rangnick’s possible arrival, but this is not the time for misunderstandings and discussions and if there are problems it is better to talk about them later, the paper writes.
For now, all at Milan must remain united because the common goal of reaching the top four must be achieved and is the only thing that matters at present.
