Marko Lazetic arrived one permanent deal from Red Star Belgrade in January but he’s yet to make an appearance for AC Milan’s first team. However, there are no doubts regarding his potential.
Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara decided to take a risk during the January window as Lazetic was their only signing. We will soon find out if that was the right move, with the upside being that they have more to spend this summer.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan believe a lot in Lazetic’s potential but also know that the youngster needs time to adapt to the new environment. Not just physically, but learning the language and settling in will also be key.
It remains to be seen if we will see the Serbian before the end of the season, which most likely will depend a lot on the Scudetto race. With eight games remaining, Milan are in a good position as they have a three-point lead over Napoli.
