AC Milan seem to be continuing their attempts to sign Wilfried Singo from Torino and have offered a counterpart, a report claims.
Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) reports this morning that Milan are looking at signing a new right-back this summer given Sergino Dest’s loan has ended and Alessandro Florenzi has had numerous injury issues.
Singo is the name they have on their list, but Torino president Urbano Cairo wants €15m to sell him despite the fact he has less than a year left on his contract, with some interest in the Premier League too.
It seems at the moment that that Ivorian would prefer to remain in Serie A, and in that case Cairo would lower the demands down to €12m. Furthermore, Milan could pay part of Singo’s price by sending Junior Messias – valued at €4m – the other way.
The Brazilian would definitely approve of a return to Torino, having spent most of his stay in Italy in Piedmont before moving to Crotone.
They would also be able to pay the €1m net per season salary he gets at Milan in his contract valid until June 2025.
15m for Singo? lol at Cairo, let him keep the player and lose it for free in a year like Belotti. 100m for Belotti trolololol, we already know how that went
And if he thinks that keeping him is the difference between relegation and not going down? Or the difference between Europa League and not qualifying?

Single is so average to bad. One of the most overrated players in the league. He’s a solid attacker and atrocious at defense. Very bad positionally also. I’ll take him as a backup attacking option at RB if he’s super cheap tho.

Seriously if they take Messias off our hands for 4M and it opens up spot for a real RW – then I would do it. 10M plus Messias is good value. Singo has room to develop with proper coaching. Talent and physicality are there. Again – that’s who we want under Redbird. Players that have potential to grow so we can resell them down the road for PROFIT. This is the Redbird way
For me Singo is very good option for rb/rwb fast strong good in defending but maybe a little work on crossing but overall good option. But hey now it’s 2 that I’m kinda liking the new management and 2 that I don’t . And it’s 2 that I’m starting to like them if the deal goes through.
Wrong on the defending part. Solid in attack for sure but defending no way.
??!! WTF why are we even looking at this player, what is wrong with an Italian, Mazzochi is right back and can cover at left back and will cost less, would rather see a primavera promoted rather than yet another expensive nobody, save the money and invest in a striker, not Morata
Don’t you know we absolutely categorically hate italians nowadays and fans defend it citing money etc. I can’t remember the last time inter was more italian than us but that’s been the way for a while now. Craziness.
