Just like La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttosport also picked out Hakan Calhanoglu as Milan’s top performer against Shamrock Rovers.
Ultimately it would be Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Calhanoglu who were decisive, with both scoring either side of the break in a 2-0 win. The former netted first thanks to an assist from the latter, while the Turkey international essentially killed the game just over 20 minutes from time.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Calhanoglu was worthy of a score of 7.5 out of 10 after his match-winning performance which features two goal involvements yet again.
Ibrahimovic’s performance was also very good as he got a 7 out fo 10, as did goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who was actually called into action on two or three occasions.
Ismael Bennacer received a 6.5 while all the other members of the starting XI received a 6 except for Matteo Gabbia who received a 5.5 due to “some wrong readings that could have been costly.”
