Tuttosport: Milan player ratings for Frosinone win – mixed bag of scores despite win

By Oliver Fisher -

A number of AC Milan players deserved praise for their performance against Frosinone, but there were also some who were not up to par.

Milan were made to work extremely hard to get all three points away at the Stadio Benito Stirpe on Saturday evening, needing a late winner from Luka Jovic to make it 3-2 having already surrendered a lead.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) has their player ratings from the game, starting with Mike Maignan who was given a 5 out of 10 because he let Mazzitelli’s goal go through him.

Davide Calabria did well on the right side in the defensive phase but offered very little going forward, scoring 6, which Simon Kjaer and Theo Hernandez were also given.

Matteo Gabbia got his first ever Serie A goal and was awarded a 6, and in midfield Yacine Adli (6) did slightly better than Tijjani Reijnders who got half a point less.

Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek both struggled in the attacking department and were given a 5, while Rafael Leao did better and got a 6.5 after his assist for Olivier Giroud’s opener.

Ismael Bennacer did well off the bench and was given a 7, while Noah Okafor received a 5.5 and Luka Jovic a 7 after he came off the bench and won the game.
