Tuttosport: Milan focused on three primary attacking targets this summer

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are focused on three main attacking targets for the summer transfer window as they seek to ensure that they have enough depth up front, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan Live), the Rossoneri are really keen to make sure that there are more strikers of quality in the squad next season.

Olivier Giroud will be a year older and there is no guarantee that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be fit or even at the club. One of Ante Rebic and Divock Origi are also expected to be sold this summer.

The primary target is Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun who has been impressing whilst on loan at Stade Reims. He could cost around €30 million, though.

The alternative targets are Union Saint-Gilloise forward Victor Boniface, who is from Nigeria, and RC Lens’ Belgian forward Lois Openda. Both would likely be cheaper options but Balogun is the favoured target right now.

  1. Folarin Balogun is theeeeee target. He’s the Jonathan David alternative for a lower price tag. If Milan get one of those two, it will transform the team’s attack.
