Tuttosport: Milan ratings for Bologna draw – dire situation up front

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan got their second consecutive draw yesterday as Bologna managed to hold on to a 1-1 draw, having taken the lead after just 33 seconds. While some did well, there were a few of the Rossoneri players that didn’t do enough.

After sloppy defending, in addition to a potential foul on Ballo-Toure, Bologna opened the scoring just 33 seconds into the game. Milan eventually found the back of the net but needed a brilliant shot from Tommaso Pobega to do so.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan) has taken stock of the performances. Starting at the back, Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Malick Thiaw and Fode Ballo-Toure all passed the test at 6/10. Pierre Kalulu, though, got a 5.5 because he lost on his man on the goal.

In midfield, Tommaso Pobega got the MOTM award after scoring the Rossoneri’s only goal, rated at 6.5. Aster Vranckx didn’t necessarily shine but he was decent and thus passed the test at 6.

Further up the pitch, Alexis Saelemaekers was the only decent one at 6. Charles De Ketelaere was more or less invisible and thus got a 5, just like his compatriot Divock Origi. Ante Rebic wasn’t great, but he did more and thus got a 5.5 from the newspaper.

The subs Junior Messias and Brahim Diaz both got a 6, while Davide Calabria and Rafael Leao ended up at 5.
