Tuttosport: Milan player ratings from Napoli win – many impress but trio stand out

Tuttosport are full of praise for the majority of Milan’s squad after they secured a huge 1-0 win over Napoli at the Stadio Diego Maradona last night.

In their player ratings (as seen below), the newspaper have given Mike Maignan a score of 6.5, with Davide Calabria getting a 6, Pierre Kalulu a 6.5, Fikayo Tomori a 7 and Theo Hernandez a 6.5 in what was an excellent performance from the defensive department.

Sandro Tonali was awarded a 6 while Ismael Bennacer got a 6.5 with the midfield duo doing an excellent job alongside Franck Kessie, who ended up tucking in to a midfield three to combat Fabian Ruiz and got a 6.5.

Junior Messias was the flop in attack as he got a 5.5, with Rafael Leao earning a 7 as the brightest spark going forward, but Olivier Giroud was the man of the match as he made another vital contribution and got a 7.

Stefano Pioli got a 7.5 for his tactical initiative, with substitutes Rade Krunic (6) and Ante Rebic (5.5) rounding off the scored.
