Tuttosport: Milan ready player-plus-cash bid to beat Juventus, Inter to €50m midfield star

AC Milan have launched a plan to try and usurp their rivals in the race to land Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to a report.

It was reported on Wednesday by SportMediaset that the Rossoneri are keen on signing Tonali, who earlier in the week confirmed that he is still a Milan fan just as he has been since he was young.

Saturday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) confirms that Milan club joined the race for Tonali and are ready to challenge Juventus and Inter. The club’s hierarchy have decided the 19-year-old is the perfect profile to join the youth revolution they are intending to lead.

Tonali has never hidden his Rossoneri faith, and the club could could guarantee him a starting position and a leading role in the year that will lead precede the European Championships.

Milan’s idea would be to offer money (even €25-30million) and a couple of players that may interest Brescia, such as goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari or defender Matteo Gabbia.

Other big European clubs like Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen, but Juventus and Inter will provide domestic competition, with the Bianconeri in particular pushing.
