Tuttosport: Milan ready to pounce if Real Madrid striker doesn’t get enough playing time

By Isak Möller -

The transfer window closed just a few days ago and Milan brought in a total of six players during it. However, as a result of the Zlatan Ibrahimovic success, they opted not to bring in a striker for the future.

The situation could be quite the opposite in January, though, as highlighted by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive.it). Milan are monitoring Luka Jovic and his position at Real Madrid, ready to pounce should the opportunity arise.

The Serbian striker isn’t getting much playing time in Zinedine Zidane’s team, but decided to stay and give his best this season. Inevitable, if he doesn’t get the space he thinks he deserves, his mindset could be very different in January.

Milan, as mentioned, are following the situation and would be ready to show up at Real Madrid’s office in January. Jovic as an alternative to Ibrahimovic would be the ideal possibility for the attack, not just in the short-term.
