Tuttosport: Milan reignite interest in Toulouse striker as Brazilian nears Juventus move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to have missed out on the signing of Kaio Jorge which could see them go after a Toulouse striker again, a report claims.

MilanNews reports that Milan spoke with the entourage of Kaio Jorge and managed to get a verbal agreement over personal terms, but Juventus obtained a written agreement with the player and his agents on Monday which puts the Bianconeri in an advantageous position.

According to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Jorge is moving further and further away as an objective for Milan as he is close to joining Juventus, so the management will have to change their target for the attack where they are looking for a young player to support two experienced strikers in Ibrahimovic and Giroud.

This is where the 18-year-old Janis Antiste of Toulouse could come back into fashion, even if the economic conditions are different compared to those of the Brazilian as he has a deal until 2023. He has 8 goals and 4 assists in 37 senior appearances for the Ligue 2 club.

  1. Milan should buy Aniste and Adli form Toulouse for something like 10-15m.

Two very promising players, Adli could fill in the right-wing (and AM) and Aniste could very well be more talented than Kaio Jorge. He has scored 7 goals for Toulouse last season, at the age of 17.
