Tuttosport: Milan remain observant of situation surrounding Torino captain Belotti

By Oliver Fisher -

Despite rumours suggesting AC Milan are focusing on other profiles, one source remains adamant that AC Milan want Andrea Belotti.

For a few weeks now, Belotti’s name has been insistently linked to Milan, due to both the situation at Torino and also the fact that his contract is expiring in 2022 which means he could be available in a cut-price deal.

Milan are in the market for a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who can offer more guarantees from a physical point of view, and some may argue there is no better candidate than a player who has hit double figures in Serie A goals in each of the last six seasons.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri in particular are among the teams interested in signing the Granata captain, but two of their rivals are also keen on the 27-year-old, namely Atalanta and Roma. Torino president Urbano Cairo is notoriously tough to deal with, it must be noted.
