Tuttosport: Milan still interested in signing versatile €35m-rated Argentina international

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still interested in a move for Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul and may revisit the idea of signing him in the summer, a report claims.

De Paul is a player who has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Rossoneri since the summer window, and speculation ramped up again during the recent January mercato.

The player’s agent Agustin Jimenez arrived at Casa Milan towards the end of the window for a meeting with the Rossoneri, while Calciomercato.com then reported that Milan have a concrete interest in De Paul and are ready to rival Inter for the €35m-rated midfielder.

According to Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport – as cited by MilanNews.it – the Argentine could become a goal for the Rossoneri in view of the summer market.

Udinese are obviously looking to generate as much money as possible from the sale of their prized asset though, and as such the starting price for the 25-year-old is €35m.

De Paul has five goals and one assist in Serie A this season, and can play either as a winger, attacking midfielder or central midfielder.
