Tuttosport: Milan strike agreement with Raiola over Donnarumma’s salary – latest on release clause

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have struck an agreement with Mino Raiola over the renewal of star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to a report.

According to Monday’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews), contacts between Raiola and the Milan management are constant and finally they seem to have come to some kind of an agreement.

The source claims that Donnarumma will earn €8million net per season, though it remains to be understood if his new deal will run until 2024 or 2025.

There are still small details to be resolved such as the figure of the release clause, as Raiola has constantly pushed for the inclusion of such a clause should Milan not match the ambitions of his client.

He does not want the figure to be a high one either: Raiola wants a €35m release clause to be active in the case of non-qualification for the Champions League.

In the end though it will be Donnarumma who decides, as he has put Milan first since the very start and wants to compete on the biggest stage with the Rossoneri.
