Tuttosport: Milan strike up new axis with Real Madrid – talks held over four players

By Isak Möller -

After signing Theo Hernandez last summer, AC Milan have turned to Real Madrid once again as the summer window is approaching. In fact, the Rossoneri have set their sights on four players.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it), Luka Jovic isn’t the only player on Milan’s radar. Talks are underway with Real Madrid and potential operations are being discussed in view of the summer.

The lists of outcasts in the squad is quite long and that’s where the Rossoneri have decided to put their focus. After all, Theo Hernandez was in this category before he was sold for just €20m last summer.

The new name, however, is Martin Odegaard. The 21-year-old midfielder is currently on loan at Real Sociedad and after a successful season, he perhaps doesn’t belong in that category but he could get limited playing time.

Therefore, a move in the summer could be on the cards, should Real Madrid decide to bring him back in spite of Sociedad’s one-year extension clause. The price tag is €40m and Milan could try to sign him on loan with an option to buy.

In addition to those two, Milan have also set their sights on Lucas Vazquez and Eder Militao, two players that certainly aren’t considered safe in the starting eleven of the Bernabeu side.
