Tuttosport: Milan struggling to sell pair of wide players despite Getafe, Betis and Roma links

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to offload two right-sided players but have not yet had satisfactory offers, according to a report.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are clear in their desire to sell both Andrea Conti and Samu Castillejo but finding a possible destination is proving to be difficult for both players.

The paper reports that the full-back could be included in the Alessandro Florenzi deal as a counterpart, a hypothesis that is not simple but is possible and could lead to a reduction in the outlay required to land the Roma man.

For Castillejo on the other hand there are both Getafe and Real Betis who are monitoring the situation but they are currently unwilling to offer the amount requested by Milan. Despite this stalemate, Milan are aiming to unblock these situations before the end of the market to try and generate some funds and free up space for new signings.

  1. Give them out even for free to reduce salary expenditure and allow our promising young talent to stay and grow. They can be the first choice for a new manager. I’m not saying heads to roll though.
