Tuttosport: Milan take a step back as Marseille slap €20m price tag on midfielder

By Isak Möller -

Milan are always looking for opportunities on the market and above all, promising players that can arrive for a relatively low fee. In the last few weeks, Boubacar Kamara has been mentioned, but the price seems to be too high.

As Soualiho Meite has returned to Torino, the Rossoneri must reinforce the midfield ahead of the season. At the beginning of next year, Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie will miss a few games due to the AFCONs, making the matter more urgent.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Kamara is one of the players Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have on their radar. However, Marseille aren’t willing to part ways with the 21-year-old for anything less than €20m.

Of course, given that Milan also are expected to sign Sandro Tonali, it wouldn’t be ideal to make such an important investment. They could perhaps try to include some counterparts but there have been no reports on that.
