AC Milan have cooled their interest in Spurs defender Serge Aurier and instead are targeting two alternatives, according to a report.
The one position in the starting XI that the Rossoneri seem to be desperate to secure an upgrade in is the right-back spot, and numerous reports over the last few days have suggested that Aurier is a major target.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews) however, Milan’s search for a new right-sided reinforcement for the defence looks set to continue as Tottenham are demanding €23m for the Ivorian, a figure that Paolo Maldini and the club are unwilling to pay.
As a consequence, Milan are evaluating other profiles, namely Denzel Dumfries – PSV Eindhoven captain – and Emerson Royal of Barcelona, who is currently on loan at Real Betis.
