Tuttosport: Milan U-turn on stance over €20m man; blow for Wolves and West Ham

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have changed their stance on Franck Kessie, a report claims, with the midfielder now set to stay beyond January.

Last month, we reported that Kessie no longer fits into the Milan project, something which the player has already learned.

For the Ivorian, Milan are asking for at least €20million. From the Premier, Wolves could make an offer which would see Kessie reunite with Patrick Cutrone, while there is a more difficult road leading to Monaco.

According to Tuttosport however – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Kessie’s departure from the club is no longer a forgone conclusion.

In fact instead, Milan apparently consider him central to their project once again.

Meanwhile, MilanNews.it have also recently stated that West Ham have made an enquiry for the Ivorian midfielder, providing some competition for the league rivals Wolves. The latter tried to sign Kessie already in the summer and are expected to try once again in January.
