Tuttosport: Milan want to close signing of Chelsea striker then move on to new target – the names

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to close the signing of Olivier Giroud from Chelsea sooner rather than later before thinking about another addition, a report claims.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes how Ibrahimovic was forced to undergo surgery to solve the problem in his left knee, which has pushed the management to try and wrap up the signing if Giroud quickly, and then there will be time to think about a second investment.

The target is to reach the conclusion of the Giroud operation soon as the French centre-forward and Milan are very close to a final agreement, which will then put the ball in the court of the player and his entourage to get Chelsea to let him leave for free, as he was promised in recent months.

Giroud remains the first choice and the priority objective in this phase of the market. Dusan Vlahovic and Andrea Belotti are welcome profiles to be the second striker, as well as 23-year-old Kalajdzic of Stuttgart, but costs and competition make negotiations complicated.
