Tuttosport: Milan want to sign Man Utd and Real Madrid duo – the latest on the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a plan to try and sign Brahim Diaz and Diogo Dalot from Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively on a permanent basis, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) are reporting that contacts between Milan and the players’ respective entourages are constant, as well as those with the management of the two clubs.

Maldini has an excellent relationship with the LaLiga side, whi at the moment values Diaz at around the €25m mark. There are two options under consideration: the first is the extension of his loan until 2022 but this time with the inclusion of an option to buy, while the other option is that he is bought outright next summer.

As for Dalot – who United paid €22m for to sign him from Porto – the Premier League club did not want to include any purchase options in favour of Milan. The player’s Italian intermediary Gabriele Giuffrida is trying to understand if there will be room to set up a negotiation that will allow the Rossoneri to keep him beyond next summer.

Qualification for the Champions League would certainly make it easier, as there would be money to use.
