The AC Milan management are looking at strengthening one more position before the January transfer window closes, a report claims.
As Tuttosport reports (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri have undoubtedly been one of the most active teams in this January market so far as they have already closed three new reinforcements in Meité, Mandzukic and Tomori.
However, they are also trying to sign a deputy to Theo Hernandez, with two players in particular now in the crosshairs. Junior Firpo of Barcelona will not be coming, so Matias Vina of Palmeiras and Nuno Mendes of Sporting CP are now the two names in contention.
Both are young and have high potential, and therefore they fit perfectly into the type of profile sought by the management. The former is 23 years old and has been close to Milan in previous transfer windows, while the latter is 18 but is already a regular for Sporting Lisbon (18 appearances this season between the league and cups).
