Tuttosport: Milan will have 16 players available when training restarts next week

After what has been a period of vacation for most of the players, Milan will begin their pre-season at Milanello on Thursday next week (June 8). There will be 16 players available for Stefano Pioli, a report claims.

Of course, the players that have been involved in the Euros (even if they went out in the group stage) will not be at Milanello next week. The same goes for Pierre Kalulu and Franck Kessie, who will take part in the Summer Olympics.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanLive), a total of 16 players will start training with Pioli next week: Tatarusanu, Plizzari, Romagnoli, Tomori, Conti, Caldara, Theo Hernandez, Gabbia, Pobega, Krunic, Maldini, Castillejo, Leao, Saelemaekers, Hauge, Colombo.

Ismael Bennacer, Davide Calabria and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will also be at the training ground next week. However, they are still recovering from their respective injuries so they won’t take part in the squad training.
