Tuttosport: Probable Milan XI to face Genoa – at least three changes

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will take on Genoa tomorrow evening and will be looking to continue their good run of form in the league, able to make it four consecutive wins. Stefano Pioli is set to make some changes to the XI as well.

Milan were in action on Wednesday evening, taking on Borussia Dortmund away from home. Unfortunately, it ended up being yet another draw and now the Rossoneri must shift focus to Genoa, scheduled for tomorrow evening instead of Sunday.

The schedule hasn’t one Pioli’s side any favours and the manager is thus set to make at least three changes to the XI, as per Tuttosport (via MilanNews). Alessandro Florenzi will replace Davide Cslabria at the back, while Yacine Adli will be back from start in the middle.

Up front, Noah Okafor is set to replace Olivier Giroud and Samuel Chukwueze could also replace Christian Pulisic, but the latter two are still battling it out. More updates on the matter will arrive in the coming hours.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Maignan; Florenzi, Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez; Musah, Adli, Reijnders; Pulisic/Chukwueze, Okafor, Leao.

  1. I agree that Pobega needs to never start for this team again. He is awful. Giroud also needs to take a step back. I’ve said it before an I’ll say it again, the only way a 37 year-old man should be our main striker is if he is performing well and scoring goals regularly. He is currently doing neither. No goals at all since Roma on September 1st, and none from open play since the opening game of the season. Also dropping stinker performances every week. We need to start regularly with Okafor or even Jovic.
