Arkadiusz Milik is a player who has been observed by the AC Milan management with particular interest, given that the situation in the attacking department for the Rossoneri is somewhat uncertain ahead of next season. However, it seems that the Polish attacker’s future will not be at the San Siro.
According to Tuttosport (via milanlive.it), the idea of a potential swap deal that would have included Franck Kessie and the Pole is now off the table.
This would have been a solution favoured also by Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso, who sees his former pupil Kessie as an ideal replacement for the departing Allan.
But despite Milan’s interest in Milik and Gattuso’s appreciation of Kessie, there will be no white smoke for a potential swap deal, which was a solution particularly favoured by Milan.
The reason for this is that Juventus have overtaken the Rossoneri in the race for Milik. At the moment, the Bianconeri are the likeliest solution for the future of the attacker who wants to feature in the Champions League.
