AC Milan’s attacking depth has been dealt another big blow as Samu Castillejo is looking at spending a month out, according to a report.
There was some concern when Castillejo was seen limping towards the end of the first half in the 4-2 win over Bologna and sure enough he went off at half-time in the game with muscle discomfort.
According to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanLive), the scan he underwent revealed a lesion of the flexor muscle of the left thigh, which is not exactly a quick injury to recover from. Now the Spaniard will rest to let the muscle heal a bit before beginning a personalised programme and then returning to training with the rest of the squad.
The paper reports that Castillejo could remain away from the field for about a month so therefore he could return immediately after the international break in the middle of November.
