Tuttosport: More talks planned between Milan and Ibrahimovic amid Spurs interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are planning on holding more talks with Mino Raiola over a return for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to a report.

Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it) stated during the week that there was a meeting between agent Raiola and the Milan leadership to discuss Ibrahimovic and in particular whether his requests are compatible with the club’s vision.

La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – then claimed that Boban spoke with the 38-year-old striker on the phone and that Milan are now in pole position to sign him.

Tuttosport (via milanlive.it) are now reporting that Raiola is expected to return to the city next week – between Wednesday and Thursday – for a second round of talks.

The Swede wants to decide by mid-December, however it is expected that he could make his choice sooner given interest from Bologna, Napoli and Spurs.

The contract offer on the table from Milan is €6m net for 18 months, and after another disappointing showing from Krzysztof Piatek, the decision has been made to try and sign a striker.
