Tuttosport: ‘Looking for a new home’ – French clubs emerging as option for Adli

Yacine Adli has had his future laid out for him – it is away from AC Milan. Whilst it is an easy task to make this clear, acting on it is proving difficult, but there is new interest in the midfielder.

This summer, Milan have overseen a bit of a midfield renovation, and there have not yet been any casualties of this. However, this should not be the case with reports stating that departures were required all summer.

Until now, though, there have been no players to leave. Ismael Bennacer, Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobega have all been rumoured to be leaving, and at present, all three remain, and whilst there is interest in the players, nothing concrete has occurred.

Perhaps it can be argued that Adli has been the biggest victim of this, there has been interest from Saudi Arabia and Qatar in his services, but nothing progressed. The story is, unfortunately, similar when it comes to European interest.

Brentford have seemed the most interested party in the Frenchman, but he remains at the Rossoneri still, but there is a rising level of interest in a return to France. According to Tuttosport (via Milan News), the midfielder could return to the top flight of French football initially on loan but with an option to buy.

  1. Ismael Bennacer, Yacine Adli and “Tommaso Pobega” have all been rumoured to be leaving, and at present, all three remain, and whilst there is interest in the players, nothing concrete has occurred. Did Pobega to Bologna fall through? Just hope this was written by a Milan fan.

Also why are we so desperate to get rid of Benny? I just don’t get it.
