Tuttosport: Nine successful signings Milan have made – value is now €350m

By Isak Möller -

In the last few years, AC Milan have made some very good signings in spite of their tight budget, as evidenced by their recent success. The value of some of these players have skyrocketed, in fact.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (see photo below) took stock of the Rossoneri’s past business on the market by highlighting nine signings. Since they joined the club, the total value has more than doubled, which is impressive.

The players in question are Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Pierre Kalulu, Alexis Saelemaekers, Ismael Bennacer, Sandro Tonali, Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic. In the photo, you can see the respective transfer fee for each of them, as well as the value.

The total value has gone from €145m to €350m and Milan can be very pleased with that, seeing as they have done it on a very tight budget. Of course, Stefano Pioli deserves a lot of praise for getting the players to where they are now.

  1. Unfortunately, Kessie want to go next season. If he decide to renew his contract his value can be around 50 millions. Total value of squad also can rise significantly when Milan can tie Diaz, Botman, Sanches, Belotti and the return of Pobega and Adli next summer. Value of Calabria also need to be counted.

  2. Wonderful work done by Maldini and the rest of the management given the current pandemic and Eliot strategy of signing players. The only comment: the value of Rebic should have been higher unless the Silva-Rebic manuever… yet definitely his VALUe increased

    1. exactly haha, Silva was bought for 38mil so if you’d include that, Milan paid 45mil for Rebic. Rebic’ value was min 30 at the time he played for Frankfurt so in fact his value decreased
