Tuttosport: One in, one out and one to stay – Milan set for changes in key department

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have an agreement in place with Roma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante ahead of next season, according to a report.

The Gianluigi Donnarumma saga is not the only situation that needs resolving in the goalkeeping department for Milan as Tuttosport (via MilanLive) explains that there will be changes regardless of what happens with the No.99.

Regardless of the rumours that he could leave, the management want to keep Ciprian Tatarusanu as the second-choice goalkeeper. The 35-year-old Romanian has a contract until 2023 which will presumably be honoured, as he made a good impression when called upon.

Milan are also about to close the free transfer of Antonio Mirante from Roma, having been on his trail for a while. The 38-year-old will certainly leave the capital due to the expiry of his contract, and should join Milan to be the third choice with Antonio Donnarumma set to depart.

Mirante is also a native of Castellammare where Gianluigi Donnarumma is from, so it could potentially be a factor that might make the 22-year-old want to stay.

  1. Renewing his brother will be better to get him to stay than the native,if it’s about influence then his brother will be the best
