Tuttosport: Optimism filters as Milan enter final stage of talks over Reijnders

Negotiations between AC Milan and AZ Alkmaar over Tijjani Reijnders are ongoing and the Rossoneri are confident that an agreement can be reached. In fact, a new and improved offer is in the pipeline.

Milan have been in talks with the Dutch side for quite some time and are now on what looks to be the home stretch. Reijnders is pushing for the move and Giorgio Fiurlani knows that the signing is essential for the squad.

As reported by Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), the Rossoneri’s second offer of €21m was rejected by the Dutch side who are playing hardball, just like they did when Teun Koopmeiners moved to Atalanta and now also with Milos Kerkez to Lazio.

Furlani is now ready to carry out the negotiations himself and will aim to bridge the economic gap, perhaps with the inclusion of some bonuses. It won’t be easy but optimism is filtering from Casa Milan, with an agreement close indeed.

    1. I seems to be convinced even tho I don’t know him haa. I like midfielders who are good with the ball and can assist goals and Reijnders is giving me that image with his profile and stats. You saying CDK 2.0. Is he a slow player? I don’t particularly like slow players! Probably because they tend to struggle with Milan.

  1. Singo, Vlasic and Beto.

Singo seal almost done, will not be hard to convince Vlasic or West Ham to sort out a deal.

For Beto bite the bull it and offer €30m, surely Udinese cant turn that down.

and off to the US we go!

  2. Tho Psv must be thinking that they didn’t play hard enough in regards to Koopmeiners transfer to Atalanta., guy was their team captain and went for under 20 mil if I’m not mistaken and now value at around 40 mil (my imagination). They wouldn’t want to see the same with Reijnders after being their player of the season.
