AC Milan are on the hunt for a right winger who can guarantee a greater number of goals and assists compared to the current options, with three players top of the list.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) write this morning that one of the missions for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will be to sign a reinforcement for the right side where Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias have failed to really hold down a starting spot.
Milan are after a player who offers a higher output in terms of goal contributions. Not only would this increase the team’s attacking threat on that particular side, but it would also ease some of the burden on the left flank and potentially open up more space for Rafael Leao.
Among the many names that have been mentioned, the ones that intrigue the fans the most are Chelsea’s Hachim Ziyech, Galatasaray’s Nicolò Zaniolo and Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio.
These three profiles seem to be destined to remain market dreams because of the costs involved. Ziyech and Asensio have high salary demands, while Zaniolo would cost €30m+ as per his release clause.
However, the chances of signing Riccardo Orsolini from Bologna have risen. He has scored 11 goals and provided 4 assists this season and his deal runs out in just over a year. Fiorentina and Torino are interested, but if Milan came along that would change everything.
