Tuttosport: Pioli makes €40m Fiorentina star Milan’s priority – wants to include Paqueta

No revolution, but targeted purchases. In other words, few but good signings. Stefano Pioli made very specific requests to Milan: on his list, among others, there is a centre-back and a right-back.

According to today’s edition Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews.it, the Rossoneri have already identified the perfect target for the first position: Nikola Milenkovic. He has done well in the last few seasons and would definitely be a reinforcement.

Furthermore, with great physical strength and flexibility, the young Serbian defender can also do the job on the right-hand side of a four-man defence, if needed that is. As mentioned, he has attracted the interest of several teams in recent years.

Per the report, president Rocco Commisso wants €40m for the sale and won’t consider anything less. Milan aren’t in a position to make such an investment, which is why they will try to lower the demands by including Lucas Paqueta.

The Rossoneri value the midfielder at €35m and thus the operation could be €10m plus the Brazilian. However, for the time being, Commisso only wants cash for his defensive star.
